Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter
  • 0.5 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 0.25 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 8 ounce cream cheese, softened
  • 0.75 cup powdered sugar
  • 0.5 cup semi-sweet mini chocolate chips
  • 1.5 cup chopped Reese's peanut butter cups

Method

Preparation Steps
  1. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the brown sugar and peanut butter until the sugar is dissolved, about 1 minute. Remove from heat and let it cool completely to room temperature.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the powdered sugar until smooth and creamy, about 3-4 minutes. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.
  3. Add the cooled brown sugar mixture to the cream cheese mixture. Beat on low speed until just combined.
  4. Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips and chopped Reese's peanut butter cups.
  5. Serve immediately with pretzels, graham crackers, animal crackers, or fruit. This dip can also be chilled for at least 30 minutes before serving for a firmer consistency.

Notes

This dip is best served within a day or two of making. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
