Preparation Steps
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a mini muffin tin.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and baking powder.0.5 cup all-purpose flour
- In a separate bowl, combine the peanut butter, oil, mashed banana, and honey. Mix well.0.5 cup all-purpose flour
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Divide the batter evenly among the prepared mini muffin cups.
- Bake for 10-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool completely.
- To make the frosting, beat together the softened cream cheese and peanut butter until smooth. (Alternatively, you can mash half a banana and mix it with 2 tablespoons of peanut butter.)0.5 cup all-purpose flour
- Frost the cooled pupcakes and serve immediately. If using the cream cheese frosting, store leftovers in the refrigerator.
Notes
Always use xylitol-free peanut butter as xylitol is toxic to dogs. Supervise your dog when they eat treats.
