  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs (beaten)
  • 1.5 cups Parmesan cheese finely grated
  • 1.5 cups panko bread crumbs
  • Lemon wedges optional for garnishing

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat air fryer to 400F.
  2. In a shallow dish, mix flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Whisk eggs in a separate bowl.
  4. Combine Parmesan cheese and panko bread crumbs in another dish.
  5. Dredge chicken breasts in flour mixture, dip in eggs, then coat with Parmesan-panko mixture.
  6. Spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray. Place chicken breasts in basket and spray tops.
  7. Cook for 6 minutes, flip, then cook for an additional 5 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165F.
  8. Rest chicken for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with lemon wedges if desired.

Notes

For extra crispiness, spray the coated chicken with additional olive oil before cooking.
