- In a medium bowl, combine crushed chocolate cookies and melted butter. Press firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie plate.
- In a large bowl, beat together softened cream cheese and peanut butter until smooth.
- Gradually add powdered sugar and mix until well combined.
- Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until no streaks remain.
- Spoon the filling evenly into the prepared crust.
- In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and vegetable oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and melted.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter filling and spread evenly.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
Notes
For an extra special touch, you can drizzle additional melted chocolate or sprinkle chopped peanuts on top before serving.
