  • 1.33 cups freshly squeezed lemon juice from about 6 large lemons
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup VERY cold water
  • 6 cups vanilla bean ice cream
  • drops yellow food coloring optional
  • slices lemons for garnish, optional

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Add the lemon juice and sugar to a blender. Blend at low speed for 30-45 seconds until dissolved.
  2. Pour in the cold water while blending on low for 10-15 seconds.
  3. Add the vanilla ice cream and pulse on low until well blended. Serve immediately.

Notes

Serve the frosted lemonade immediately for best results. Garnish with lemon slices if desired.
