  • 1.5 cups light brown sugar
  • 1 cups butter at room temperature
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon table salt
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cups semi-sweet miniature chocolate chips

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Beat brown sugar and butter together in a stand mixer on medium speed until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add in flour, vanilla extract, and salt into creamed butter until fully combined.
  3. With mixer on low speed, add milk 1 tablespoon at a time until fully incorporated.
  4. Remove bowl from mixer and add in mini chocolate chips. Stir by hand until incorporated.

Notes

This frosting is best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
