  • 3 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter cold and cubed
  • 0.5 teaspoon instant espresso powder
  • 0.25 cup Kahlua rum and coffee liqueur
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Line an 8x8 inch square baking pan with parchment paper, allowing overhang for easy removal.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, add chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, butter, and espresso powder. Do not stir yet.
  3. Microwave on high for 1 minute 30 seconds. Let sit for 30 seconds, then whisk until smooth. Add Kahlua and vanilla, whisk again.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Tap to remove air bubbles.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until set.
  6. Once set, lift out with parchment overhang. Slice into 64 pieces and serve.
