  • 1.5 cups cake flour
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp kosher salt
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cups walnuts roughly chopped

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flours, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts until evenly distributed.
  7. Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets, about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
