Preparation Steps
  1. In a bowl, beat together melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add egg and vanilla and mix well.
  2. Stir in baking soda and salt, then gradually add flour and mix until combined. Fold in chocolate chips and sprinkles.
  3. Scoop dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, about 2 tablespoons per cookie. Chill for at least 2 hours.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake cookies for 11-15 minutes until edges are golden. Let cool before serving.
