Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together sugar, cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  5. Allow to cool completely before drizzling with caramel sauce and frosting.
