Preparation Steps
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cherry pie filling and drained crushed pineapple.
- In a small bowl, stir together sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and almond extract.
- Pour the condensed milk mixture over the cherry pie filling and pineapple. Mix well.
- Fold in the thawed whipped topping until fully combined.
- Add 2 ½ cups of mini marshmallows and chopped pecans, then stir gently.
- Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Just before serving, sprinkle remaining mini marshmallows and garnish with maraschino cherries.
