  • 1.5 cups canned apple pie filling
  • 16 oz cream cheese
  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 0.25 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs eggs
  • 0.25 cup caramel topping
  • 0.5 cup apple pie filling

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together crushed graham crackers and melted butter until all of the crackers are fully coated.
  3. Press the cracker mixture into a prepared 9-inch springform pan.
  4. Spoon apple pie filling into the crust and carefully spread.
  5. In a large bowl, whip the cream cheese until fluffy. Add the sugar, vanilla, and eggs and beat until smooth. Pour this over the pie filling.
  6. Bake until the center of the cake is set, about 50-55 minutes.
  7. Cool to room temperature.
  8. In a small saucepan over medium heat, add apple pie filling and caramel topping. Heat over low heat about 1 minute.
  9. Spoon the apple-caramel mixture over the top of the cheesecake and spread evenly.
  10. Refrigerate the cheesecake until ready to serve.
