- Preheat oven to 350℉. Spray a 9-inch pie pan with non-stick cooking spray.
- On the stovetop, melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Add broccoli and cook for 2 minutes. Then add water and garlic and cook, covered, for 5-7 minutes until broccoli is bright green but still firm.
- Remove from heat. Finely chop the broccoli once it has cooled.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs and cream. Stir in the shredded Swiss cheese and mix well. Stir in the chopped broccoli, salt, nutmeg, and pepper. Pour the mixture into the prepared pie pan.
- Bake for about 35 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes before serving hot.
