Ingredients
  

Apple Cake
  • 2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 cup apples (chopped)
Butterscotch Sauce
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup butter

Method
 

Apple Cake
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, stir together sugar, oil, eggs, vanilla, flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon and apples. Pour into baking pan.
  3. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Butterscotch Sauce
  1. Add heavy cream, brown sugar and butter to a saucepan over low medium low heat. Boil for 4 minutes. Serve over baked cake.
