  • 2 piece boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1.5 cups Parmesan cheese finely grated
  • 1.5 cups panko bread crumbs
  • Lemon wedges optional for garnishing

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400F.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine flour, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Whisk eggs in a separate bowl.
  4. Mix Parmesan cheese and panko bread crumbs in another shallow dish.
  5. Dredge each chicken breast in the flour mixture, dip in eggs, then coat with the Parmesan-panko mixture.
  6. Spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray. Place chicken breasts in the basket.
  7. Air fry for 6 minutes, flip, and cook for an additional 5 minutes until internal temp reaches 165F.
  8. Allow chicken to rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with lemon wedges if desired.

Notes

For extra crispiness, spray the chicken with additional spray halfway through cooking.
